ROCK HILL, SC - Feb 5, 2010 - SiteGuardian has released version 2.0 of its internet monitoring service.

Built from the ground up with a host of new features, SiteGuardian releases version 2.0 of their internet monitoring service. Designed with a solid, scalable, and expandable architecture, new internet technologies can be easily incorporated into the system as they arrive. Not only has the architecture been updated, but the website interface has been completely redesigned.

Some of the new features include: Transaction(multi-step) monitoring, multi-user administration, XML/RSS monitoring feeds, geographic monitoring from multiple locations, SMS alerts, and detailed reports on each monitoring request.

"Our monitoring revolves around how customers are impacted," said Bray Jones, SiteGuardian president. "Site administrators like to know how their sites performance and uptime affect customers so we've designed our reports to be customer impact centered."

Capturing accurate and reliable monitoring data gives SiteGuardian the ability to analyze each monitoring result separately and help determine exactly where problems exist and how they affect the overall performance of the site. When customer impacts do occur, emails and SMS alerts are sent out to notify the business teams of those issues so action can be taken to resolve the problem quickly.
