| Detailed diagnostics

| Website Monitoring (HTTP)
This is normal unsecured web site that usually shows public content, forms, and contact information. Customers usually monitor the homepage to make sure the website presence is available to the public. |

| Content Checking
Any content that is returned from the website can be check against a string or regular expression that you setup. This ensures the website is returning the content that you expect your users to see. Alerts can also be setup to send you notifications when content doesn't match. |

| Availability Checking
Each web page returns a status code that can be checked and verified. Usually application errors return a specific code, if this code is found then alerts can be configured to send out notifications. Broken images return another type of code, while successfully responses return another code. All of these codes can be checked and setup to send notifications if they are found or even if they are not found. |

| Performance Checking
Each web monitor is timed from start to finish. Alerts can be setup to check those response times to make sure they fall within a threshold you setup. Any response that doesn't meet that threshold will trigger notifications and be reported on. |

| Include media elements in monitoring
This option allows media elements like images, javascript files, and stylesheets to be included in your response time. This will help capture the total response time a user would experience when viewing your page by including the response time for each element downloaded within the page. |

| Transaction monitoring *
Transaction monitoring allows you to chain multiple monitors together. This keeps data from previous pages and can be used in cases where you are verifying that a shopping cart checkout process is working or checking a bank balance. It can be as simple as verifying a login/logout process for an application or as complex as a multi-page signup process for your site. Note: Each step in a transaction is a billable monitor. |

SMS (Short Message Service) is a protocol for sending and receiving text messaging over digital cellular networks, including TDMA, CDMA, iDEN, and GSM networks. SMS messages are limited to 160 characters and can be sent to most phones. |

| Impact Resolution History
When a customer impact is created by SiteGuardian, you can document what you did to fix that issue. SiteGuardian keeps a history of entries that you've entered for that impact so you can go back an review what you did to fix the problem. This comes in handy to quickly resolve an issue that has happenend in the past. |

XML/RSS Feeds allow you to view your current statistics in an RSS browser/reader or pull your data into another application with XML. Some companies use this to automatically pull in the latest statistics into their operations console and display on large monitors. |

| Unlimited Contacts
Your SiteGuardian account can have an unlimited number of contacts that can be used for report and notifications. Contact support include both an email and SMS option for a contact. |

| Contact Grouping
SiteGuardian gives you the ability to have groups setup for contacts so you can assign reports to groups(as well as contacts). Notifications can also be setup to use both groups or single contacts. This allows you drop contacts into groups that are already assigned to reports without having to assign contacts directly. |

| Multi-level user administration
Muti-level user administration allows you to add users to your account that can login and administer and/or view reports. This is great for larger companies that want just one account and can have several users login and view only monitors and reports that are assigned to them. |

| Notification Exceptions
Notification exceptions can be setup to prevent notifications going out during a certain period of time. For example: You have a scheduled weekly maintenance period on Sunday from 2-4am. You don't want notifications sent to you during that time so the notifications are logged and shown in reports, but the email/sms notification is not sent out. |

| Do Not Disturb events
Do Not Disturb events are periods of time that you as a contact or group of contacts don't want to be disturbed. A management contact may be assigned to get notifications during slow response times, but doesn't want to be notified on the weekends. So you would setup a Do Not Disturb event on Saturday and Sunday(all day) for that manager. |
