Contacts
You have complete control of how many contacts your notify for alerts and/or reports. Each contact can have their own individual alert format (e.g., HTML, plain text or pager),
and contacts can be turned off or on for special purposes (such as vacations).
Schedules
Set up exactly the monitoring schedule you wish by selecting the days of the week and times of the day to monitor.
Scheduling options include:
- Monitoring every day
- Monitoring weekdays only
- Monitoring one day per week
- Monitoring 24 hours a day
- Monitoring every day for a specified period (e.g., 8 AM to 5 PM)
- Monitoring every weekday for a specified period
A device can be set up with multiple schedules (e.g., one to monitor every day, 24 hours a day, and one to cease monitoring on Sunday, from 1 AM to 2 AM (scheduled outage).
Notification Exceptions
Notification exceptions allow you to disable alerts during user-defined periods.
Scheduled outages are configured on a recurring daily/weekly basis.
Device Management
With Site Guardian, you have total control over the management of your devices.
Put devices in user-defined groups for ease of management. For example, if you monitor several devices related to your corporate headquarters as well as devices related to your local store, you can group each cluster under its own category for ease of reporting and management. This allows you to turn off monitoring for groups instead of for each individual device.
You can also rearrange devices at anytimeyou can delete devices or inactivate/deactivate individual devices.
